Re: Climate control clicking?

I had success on a golf with this a while back, performed the basic settings on the flap actuator with VCDS & the clicking stopped & it functioned correctly. Not sure how long it will last but it's been going strong for over a month now :) Was easier than a dash out job! But I guess it depen...

Ouch! I feel for you! Nothing worse than that scraping/crushing sound! Especially when there's nothing you can do to stop it in time :(
Hopefully the car will be going in on Wednesday to be done! :)

They are a rare breed, you never see them move, but the damage they can inflict!

I prefer the PC version, less offensive ;)

Oh you get those as well! This is a wall that has been where it is longer than I have been alive, yet it appeared with out warning.

The guy who does my spraying is going to give it a go for mates rates, pull the dent, fill the 'light scratch' & spray!
Will post the results when he gets a free day :)

Why I don't let the girlfriend drive!

I remember when she doesn't drive my car now...
Not even 2 meters from where it was parked...

Nice 'scratch' & a dent that travels right across the door!
Wouldn't mind so much if it was snowy/icy but it was a dry day!

It does make you wonder if you just add up the price of all the servicing over so many years or miles, don't bother doing any if it, save the money & buy a new engine :D

I know, scary thought! Although it does say to check the condition a bit more often.

How often do you guys do your oil & filter. Or fuel filter?

I don't know unfortunately, shall check my VIN number & find out if it is in the group of chain drives. Interesting that a lot of people agree 100,000 miles is a fair bit for a can belt :p (or 120,000 on some petrol engine) Went through my service history today seeing the previous gaps between e...

Service intervals

I agree with the Exeter one! Very hit & miss, it's not exactly a small place, but like a ghost town most times you go in there!

Although have had some useful help occasionally, after a while...
