Re: b6 passat upgrading headunit for aftermarket kenwood
The kenwood is about £600 off ebay at the moment obviously dealer price is higher. If any other used you need to get a canbus adaptor lead to fool the car that it still has OEM headunit or tap into the cigarette lighter for a separate feed for the aftermarket headunit.

Re: seatbelt ..BONG ..help
Sometimes if you have stuff on the passenger seat it makes it think someone is sat on there with the seat belt undone. I found this out in my old saloon when I'd bought a four pack and a couple of other bits and put it on the passenger seat. Doesn't have to weigh a lot just depends where on the seat...

Fog light grills part number help
Does anyone have the part numbers for the R-Line / R36 left and right fog light grills please.
Also what is the difference between them and standard ones?
Pics of both styles appreciated.

Re: Passat no 3 B6 Wagon little bits done
Well I finally managed to fit the replacement pass kit. Removed the broken parrot hands free kit and then I fitted the Seat EGR gasket this seems to have aided cold starting and car feels to run more smoothly.

Estate high level brake light question
While I was reading a VW mag at my mates the other day I saw a picture of a Dutch B6 estate that had a clear rather than red high level brake light. Is this a VW part and if so what's the part number or if its aftermarket who makes it and where can I get one.

I'd only had mine a week when I took it to the dealers and they took pics and it came back approved a week later and sorted a week later with newer tailgate and number plate lights.

If you put the challenge out you need the tools for the job. I had a Seat Leon Cupra Tdi 150 that had front mount intercooler hybrid turbo etc but didn't look anything special but gave Type R and VXR owners a shock at track days etc. I really miss having a sleeper car my old T4 transporter was runni...

How can I tell or what is the difference between HB4 and H11 bulbs and which ones will I have in my car?
One of my foglight bulbs keeps flickering so going to fit some new ones just need to know what I have fitted before I buy them.

Removed parrot hands free today what a pain
When I picked my car up it had a parrot hands free fitted but its never worked so I thought while it was dry today I'd see if I could get it working. To cut a long story short I found that possibly the previous owner had gone to remove it and couldn't but had cut a lot of the cables so I decided to ...
