Gutted eBay didn't accept bid on a set of wheels

I was watching a set of Audi Monoblock alloys and decided to bid on them. I thought my bid had gone through as it said you are the highest bidder. So I went to check if I'd won them after they had finished and it said they had ended with no bids so I'm well gutted at the moment. Although I've had a ...

Mine did something similar recently and it was one of the sensors had given up the ghost and the loom to it had perished so replaced the whole lot and it's run fine since.

I'm not sure what's standard Passat and what's R-Line, but I've got the obvious ones like the front splitter/grill with xenon lights and foglights, rear valance, side skirts, rear spoiler thingo on the tailgate, R-Line plates on the door sills, R-Line logo on headrest, sports steering wheel with R-L...

Re: Spec difference between Sport and R-Line?

Now he's seen the interior on one he's looking round for a sport and then going to fit the body kit to it. As he thought the R-Line would be more like a GTI spec and as his last three cars have been Golf GTIs he was after something bigger and diesel but with sport seats etc

Spec difference between Sport and R-Line?

My mate wants me to go look at an R-Line estate with him. I've been told an R-Line is basically an SE spec with the body kit fitted so no sports interior. What else are the differences I should be looking at compared to my Sport spec wagon apart from the usual recall issues. All help and advice appr...

Re: Arson attack on the house next door.

Know the feeling having this happen we have a house 4 down from us that is rented through a housing association and since the latest family moved in both our cars have been keyed I've had something poured down the back of the car and ruined the paint that I've only just had sorted. I've previously fitted the aerial from a Honda Civic and the last time I used one from a Citroen C2 and had no issues with either of them. I also fitted an inline aerial booster when I fitted an aftermarket head unit.

The oem ones have a channel that you can slot the fittings into which gives a solid fix.

I think it's as the polish creates the depth and then the wax adds further depth and sealant. I normally do it this way. Snow foam Wash Clay bar Wash Meguiar paint restorer on any scratches or swirl Meguiar gold class polish Meguiar wax Dazzle carnuba wax Dodo Juice wax for light coloured paint I do...

For me it's Vauxhalls except the VX220 and Monaro I don't know what it is but just hate driving them and then Renaults both I owned cost me a fortune and then there's the early Ford Focus in all the time I drove them for work etc I've never managed to find a comfy driving position in one. X(

Decent mount for iPhone

I trying to find a decent mount for my iPhone in the car. I'm really after one that doesn't stick to the window but haven't found anything half decent out there.
What have other people used and can you post pics so I can see them and see if there is something that I could use in mine.

I had fitted some headlight eyebrows last week and the jury was out on whether I liked them or not.
After washing and polishing the car today they just weren't floating my boat at all so off they came and car looks a lot better.

Re: B6 Sport Wagon Little bit of TLC

Well I dropped my car off with my mate yesterday to get the H&R lowering springs fitted and should hopefully have it back tonight. As mine was a sport and already 15mm lower than standard we were both only expecting it to lower another 25mm max as the other springs may have settled a little. My ...
