Re: Where are all the coupes at?
I am not even sure whether the Mk2 2-door Passat that was called "Quantum Coupé" in the States was ever sold in the U.K.: http://www.rossvw.com/vw/pics/83quantumgreensmall.jpg Please do not forget that the 1,7l-Coupé for the U.S. was produced only for the 1982 and 1983 model years and sk...

Re: Suitable steering wheels ???

Re: 87 TOPIC
Oh, no... - you could have the Passat "C", "CL" and "GL" (resp. "GL(S)5") as well, in all three body shapes, with some exceptions, f.e. after 1986 the "C" model should not have been available in the "Passat Sedan" shape (which was the same ...

Re: 87 TOPIC
... the "Topic" was a special model for the U.K. market in 1986. It should not be mistaken for the German ´84 "Topic" special model which was completely different - except for the very sticker you took the picture from. Here´s some additional info on the U.K. model, thanks to J...

Re: My B2 Passat, polished!
Looks like a very well kept ride, you can really thank the past owner(s) for caring so well... Same colour & wheels as our Santana GX... http://vwsantana.vw.ohost.de/Fotos/session05/Bild3717.jpg - but that one has a 4cyl. If I were owning such a rare car, I would keep it as it is (almost mint :s...
