The CD changer has died in my 5.5 Wagon so I'm looking to replace the standard Gamma unit with a Sony single disc head unit (It has the same Red illumination with a blue display so hopefully won't look too out of place). All I can think is a direct short to earth. Are there any wires chafing on a bit of bodywork somewhere. Other possibility if you have one fitted is tow bar electrics.

Well, first job done, pollen filter housing renoved, sodden foam seals removed and entire box re sealed with some stuff thats meant for sealing round rear light clusters, double width and double height should hopefully do it.
