Re: Work done today with photos and questions
Thanks for all your replys. The car has now done 130k and dont think its been serviced for a while which is my next job. To disable the EGR valve is it as easy as removing the top vac pipe?

Real Stupid Question, (rear wiper motor)
Hi
This is a stupid question, my rear wiper is inop but to test the feed to the motor i need the switch on. Ive never had a owners manual for the car and cant find what position the stalk should be in for the operation of the rear wiper motor?
Thanks Regards Andy

New 2000 B5 estate owner, some problems
Hi All
Just purchased my first 2000 VW Passatt Estate TDi PD and have some minor problems if you can help.
1. Drivers door wont open from outside but ok from inside.
2. Sometimes the car cranks but doesnt start. Turn off and try again and its ok. Is this glow plugs or air getting into the fuel?
