Dealer is your safest bet.
When i did mine we changed the dsg oil and filter. I reckon sticking new oil with an old filter might contaminate the new oil

Re: Need help passenger door won't open!
You could try opening it from inside then before you enter you slam the door as hard as you can.
My B6 does have the same problem every now and again and all i do is give it a good slam when closing it every now and again and that sorts it out

Re: Heater controls.
Its a complex job, climatronic will be fully automatic and you will need to code/set it using dealer level equipment probably VAS5051/1 ....would imagine a VAG specialist or trusted dealer is your best bet.

Re: Outside temp sensor
Its not that difficult pal.
You need to raise the front of the vehicle.Secure support on axle stands. Undo the fasteners and remove the engine undershield.
Sensor is fitted behind the front bumper. Unclip and disconnect the wiring plug. Job done

Re: Purchase advice required
@Brown boy Depending on your location, find someone with VCDS and they plug their cable into both cars that should bring up a detailed summary of what's what with the two cars. That together with an actual test drive and a bit of caution should tell u which is the better option of the two. Only down...

Re: Electronic Parking Brake Failure
I managed to get new TRW rear brake calipers and electronic servo for £150 each with £54 surcharge if I return old units. All German Parts in Leeds came out cheapest so it was a no brainer. Fixed the car today and old caliper had cracked housings. Also ended up replacing the rear brake discs and p...

Re: Central Locking button Near Side
You could also try slamming it really hard. Its a common on the b6. Mine does the same and every now and again a good hard slam of the door usually sorts it out. If that fails try opening by pulling the door handle from outside and at the same time pull the door lock from the inside. ( window wound ...

Have you tried the search button pal?
My guess is you haven't otherwise you would have figured out how to get the door to open.
