Bit of a thread revival but i also replaced discs and pads on the front, greased the sliders and so far so good. No noise for over a week nowdeadcat wrote:ok, so for anyone interested, it was the brakes.
Took out the back pads, swapped em over and no more clackerty clack.

Ive got one on order for tomorrow from GSF for approx £160 inc VAT. Well, thats for the Camshaft and Lifters x 8.
Ive been told to check the clearances on the injectors to see if that makes a differemce first though.

Hi all, Does anyone have an XDA 305s or similar? I am thinking I picking one up 2nd hand for the Passat but was wondering how people got on without the CD function? I'm not sure whether to buy a regular CD unit with USB function!! I love the look of the XDA though!! Anyone had any experiances? Cheers

As said above, this would cost the modified vehicle industry billions in lost sales and companies that specialise in modifying would be going under overnight! Not good for an already weak and unstable economy!
