I used a alcohol based hand sanitizer and a toothbrush but it takes time and depends if it’s tree sap or such like. Mine was tree sap and came up good but it will never be perfect I doubt

I have glass headlights it’s just the fact they’ve always been On there. It was sitting for 2 years so in last 2 weeks I replaced anything and everything it needed/wanted and those were the last items I wanted to Change for new. I’ve ordered them now and it’s all back on the road with a new mot

I missed that... The part number is actually just 998VAG429. The 8/04 is the production date, not a component of the part number. Does anyone know where I can get another set of headlamp protectors(they slot in the bottom of headlights and clip in above and protect the headlight and indicator from stone chips etc..) I’m doing a revamp of my Passat after it being off the road for 2 years and have noticed 1 of mine is cracked ??...

just looked again its 2500 litres you can use up to without declaring anything and also found out the act that they would use to charge you or take your car off you it is Section 2AA of The Hydrocarbon Oil Duties Act 1979 so if they use this on you there talking rubbish as it states that you must u...

every turbo'd car wether or not petrol or diesel will consume an amount of oil especialy more than the n/a equivalent but not to the degree that the guy states at top of post or infact the manual but id guess that it is to cover thereselves for any slight weep or summit . them old diesel vag engines...
