I need to get a shrader valve with 1/4" thread on other end so I can do a boost leak test but Im struggling to find the right sort and be certain that its the right one, can anybody point me in the right direction with a link please?

It is the boost control solenoid and controls the allowable boost to the turbo I believe

IN acceleration under boost, there is a flat spot (only very mild) boost builds up as normal just doesn't seem quite as progressive as before and power seems to tail off a bit sooner than before, its slight but noticeable

Im thinking vacuum leak possilbly but Im open to suggestions if you got any

On the plastic at front of the engine covering the cambelt (I think) it should give a three letter engine code.
