That's the thing, my quotes are nowhere near that! Having said that, the low quotes that come up for don't include breakdown, windscreen, legal etc., getting like for like quotes is hard work. Breakdown cover for instance varies muchly in it's interpretation between companies. Anyhow, it can't be me...

That's a heck of a trip all in, I bet the ferry makes a nice break. At least you miss most of the horrible roads out of Calais...

most insurance ccompanies please them selves . come renewal time i just get best quote online then tell MY insurance company that and they always beat it or match it including benefits. currently paying 181 fully comp with protected 7 yrs no claims............. :D :D its a 1.8t aswell ;) Who? I've come back from the far side of Holland in a loaded & towing afn estate with a knackered maf before now and 10k around the UK in a year in an 895c.c. mk1 Polo, it wouldn't put me off

Ok... A2 clear M25 to Dover M20 clear M25 to Dover BUT plenty of lorries clogging up Dover; it wasn't too bad on the A2 but had overtaken plenty of lorries that hadn't got there yet and it's one lane in. From the M20 it was blocked through Dover to the start of the A20. There are roadworks on the A2...
