Coding an existing battery won't fix the issue as the capacity has been degraded since it was fitted. So your best route is getting a new one and coding it from there. Wether you go warranty, or through Tayna is up to you. I bought my Exide AGM from Tayna last year, cheapest i've seen for batteries...

Yeah, I should've sold the AppRadio as soon as I pulled it out. As usual tech has gone in leaps and bounds in the last 4.5 years so it's probably worth half what I paid for it.

I was going to do this mod back then, then I read about the Panasonic AppRadio which was a twin-DIN extension to an iPhone that mirrored the phone screen and picked up messages etc. I ran that till I got rid of the car in Oct 2014 but still have the unit.
