I didn't have any abnormal tyre wear probs before the 'kerbing' incident occured, mine is accompanied by noticeable left hand pull/drift during normal driving.

I have had many VWs over the years and have never had wearing like this thru normal UK driving, talking new tyre to illegal tread in 6months.

I hoped that due to having bought 6 new VWs from same dealer there would be a degree of customer care, seemingly lost along with anytype ...

I've just decided to clear out the drain gromets that cause the blockage, but find that I cannot remove the Battery
without removing the black plastic piece, that appears to be attached to the windscreen, My PASSAT is a TDI 130 PS
I am wondering if the Diesel has a larger battery, as I haven't the ...

Did mine this moring, following heavy rain got about 3 inches of water sploshing round rear footwell. No electical probs tho.

Totally the point of having forums like this to save everybody having to pay the evil dealers to sort out a minor problem.
