This may be a fairly simply question I have a passat b5.5 and fitting a set of Vw Helios wheels to the car with 8mm spacers up front can anyone advise what wheel bolts I should be going for as not to sure

My B5.5 came with a set of Koni suspension which was fitted when the car was brand new I tried to buy a new set but it's now been discontinued any ideas how To get them refurbed by Koni to be as good as new.

Has anybody fitted the Isofix bracket from VW as looking at some forums people have said the parts including the bolts and guides are 40 pounds but my dealer wants £75 for each bracket and bolts, a little excessive since my wife's ford was £25 complete.

Where did you get the exhaust turndown pipe?

Well the problem just gets worse mot now out and when they tried to get the £455 center exhaust box, it was on back order so not avalible.

I have contacted Miltek, Magnex and scorpion and none do a cat back stainless steel system for a 1.9tdi b5.5 which does not show exhaust pipes out the rear ...

It's 455 for the main part then however much I get charged for fitting.

My MIT runs out on Tuesday and need the car back on the road. I would normally do these bigger jobs myself but just don't have the time at the moment

I just decided to replace the Center section with the dealer part.

What difference does it make by removing it totally and where did you get the pipework

I wouldn't have thought vw actually make there own exhausts but could be wrong

I would consider a stainless steel exhaust made by a decent manufactured but don't want to see any tailpipes like the OEM exhaust.

I have a 2005 Passat b5.5 Highline which have just went over the 100k, the center box exhaust bracket has broken so needing replaced, it's still the original exhaust so it's one piece, I want an oem spec exhaust but they want about 750 from the stealers plus about 150 for fitting.

Hey Guys,
Just had my front sping break and as it did it broken the large nut that supports the bottom of the spring to adjust the ride height.
Not 100 percent sure the make of the set up the is on the car at the moment!
Any suggestions should I replace the complete set and if so which is the best ...

Finally bought a set of 8 ascari Cuervo alloys 2 brand new all other will need a refurb! All et38 offset, 20x9 so hopefully they will fit up front!

Just looking for some advice I have a Passat B5.5 TDI Highline which had heated seats, I have since fitted W8 Electric seats at the end of last year but the alternator packed in this week. It has a 120a Valio Alternator in it but should I be looking to replace it with the same of should I put a 140a ...

So, how much more hassle would it be to fit the V6 gearbox to my passat.

I am looking to do alot of upgrades and plan to keep the car as spent a small fortune with a W8 Recaro interiour plus a number of bits, I've bought and waiting to fit.

Yeh, I had a set of 19's on the car that did some damage to the front arches. and they were only 8's. I had hoped to find these wheels in 20x8 for the fronts but they are discontinued now.

I really don't want my front arches destroyed again.
