I was using sonax in it which i have used in all my other VW's including a MKV with similar jets.
pain in the ass. new jets are on order from vagparts (along with soem other goodies like r32 triggers for my MKIV - couldn't resist )

Well I swapped them on to another car last night that was working perfectly and they are definetly blocked

With the jet's disconnected there is loads of water at the end of the pipes when i activate the washers.
Might try a bit more fault finding around that later.

Tried that all ready but the B6 ones are quite a bit different and I can't seem to get to the root of the blockage

Hi guys

Been trying with no joy to clear the washer jets on my wifes B6. Front exit slot is clear and rear pipe entry is clear so blockage is right in the middle of them
Anyone ever cleared them or do i need to replce em ?

I know what you mean about the B6 vs the B5.5. - my B5.5 is gone now and I can't warm to the B6 as much at all.

Right - Fianally got in to the boot lid All is nice and dry in htere for a start. The solenoid appears to be stuck but how do i remove it ? Looks like aspecialist tool is required. It's held against a mounting plate with 2 brass type bolts with round heads and hollow centres. The centres are threade...

have you investigated in case you have the known dodgy rear window washer issue ?

sounds like the boot solenoid isn't sctivating.

Lash (and i mean lash !) a dose of wd40 in to the lock - sorted mine out nicely after letting it soak in with the boot open

when you say you have 20 mm spacers do you mean 10 both sides for 20 in total or 20 both sides ?
