gutted, only done 20,000 miles on new cambelt and its snapped, car is now scrap complete conversion now for sale in for sale section.

mot time again so the old girl is finally getting a new front screen, front tyres( going from 35 profile to 40)it.s using a bit of water but sniff tested it for head gasket and its not that so theres a new header tank to put on. bits of annoying stuff with the electrics and also replaced the drivers...

not been on for a bit, passat is just getting used and abused at the moment and is getting a bit beat up. trying to get round to tiding it up but with another project on the go it,s hard to find the time. still looking for a set of wheels just cant decide which ones.

cheers, just read reviews on the wheels i was after and does not sound good. most comments were about them cracking, so i think i will keep on looking. rather than have all the hassle with tyres rubbing( as they do now, takern the paint of the arches) was thinking of going for a 20"x7.5 or 20&q...

right, seen some wheels that look super cool and very different. the only thing is they are only available in a 4.5" and 5.7" back spacing, what et would this work out at. they are a 4x4 wheel.

fastback runs a 1641 turbo lump and the cortina will have a rover 3.5 v8 with single t4 turbo. as for the wheels bbs are a defo no no. oh and there 19" rear and 17" front.

what a mission today got to buff the car today, started with 1000 grit and flatted the whole car then 1500 grit pads on the d a and to finish 2000 grit pads. once flatted so there was no orange peel left buffed it back up. it looks good but could have done with a coarser compound to start with , say...

spotted today about 11.30 coming into blackburn near maccy d,s matt black b3 wagon lowered with what looked like 16" deep dish rims. anyone on here.

few more new bits, front discs, pads front brake flexi,s and new drivers side abs sensor. car now drives like new just the tracking to be checked after all the suspension work which has been done.more at weekend.

i no it sounds daft but i have not driven it in the dark yet but the missus has and she says it,s a lot better than the standard lights.lot brighter.
