What head unit is fitted to your car at the moment? Gamma unit fitted and your cd fits underneath it in the dash and not the boot,only boot mounted if DSP or Nav unit fitted.

I've had two B6's,R36 & CC 3.6GT and both were superb cars.

Only one little screw holds the indicator unit in situ,take out the screw,remove the unit and turn it upside down to shake out the bulb,all of twn minutes and you'll be done

It should do mate,soon as the engine is switched off the parking brake should apply.

From memory you'll only be able to buy genuine VW ones here in the UK,you can get Zimmerman ones from the EU but,they are still rather pricey.

Go onto Ebay France or Belgium and search Rokkor racing,you'll find them a lot easier to deal with with very prompt delivery and very good quality products @ much cheapness

The pcd is fine but,you may find that the offset is a little high for the B5.5,therefore a 15mm spacer may be required behind each wheel to compensate for the high offset and allow suspension clearance etc.

It's rear ones that the lad is after mate so no issues with strut sizes

Sounds like the mechatronics unit is playing up mate,had a similar problem with an R36 which did this,new unit fitted under warranty and it was as it should be again.

If it's for your B6 I have a brand new pair of VW OEM gas filled ones which I bought to use on my last B6 but,sold the car before I got around to fitting them.

Make me an offer for them including P&P and I'll see what I can do???

Do a "seller" search on ebay for these people and they'll have exactly what your after mate. Normally cost around 18 quid for the foot rest cover.

Perhaps it's coming in around the tail lights? It could run down the boot channel and if the light seals are a bit iffy gain entry via there? Another possible is the vents behind the bumper at the bottom of the 1/4's

I've been with DMC when he's bought two W8 saloons recently,02 plate with fvwsh 48k for £2500 and the other one is very similar to what you have, 2002 on a 51plate with 90k fvwsh 3k both are two owner cars in good condition. Maybe this will give you an idea on what to ask.

Yeh it's an easy enough job to change over mate,and yes that looks like the correct bar.

You may find that the towbar has replaced the bumper bar behind the actual bumper cover and they don't want to pay for a new bumper bar to put back in place of the towbar

Rear seat mounting brackets are in a different position(due to 4 motion having higher floor) and rear door cards are different on saloons.If you fit 4 motions estate rears into a fwd they won't fold correctly.

I run an Audi A4 avant 2.0 tfsi 220 which returns mid to high 30's on daily mixed use.
