the dealer does still do the parts as a "repair kit" but think you would be better getting a second hand one from a breakers yard & using the parts together with your own lock barrel, also would be cheaper :-bd Main pisser is he'll stil have to repair it anyway :P I'll find my PDF I m...

The CCM mounts directly underneath the front of the passenger seat (when it's fully slid forward) The flat surface of the CCM points upwards and if you look on the floor there's a small pin, this lines up with a notch on the CCM. Can anyone advise how to dismantle the boot lock on the Passat.
I've removed the entire central locking assembly, but can't work out how to remove the lock chamber itself from the central locking unit
