My injector failed on me last year, I have a 06 plate, I had the injector changed from a local garge but he order the injector from VW, is it possable from me to just get the money back for the injector from VW as it was about £550.

Could someone please answer my original question. Is is possible to upgrade the injectors to better ones with more power and reliability?

Hi all, Thanks, What a pain these injectors are. You would have thought a car like a vw passat would be reliable and problem free. How could I avoid having another one failing on me.

Any advise would be helpful.

Jus spoke to someone in Revo, they said just get the original one replaced and they are normal quite good. The injectors normally fails when you have been using cheep diesel in it. As I said I have only had it for two months, i've be using v-power.

Only had my passat for 2 months now, was loving it. One of the **** siemens injectors have failed so the cost of getting it sorted is about £800(Change out the injector and the loom). Been reading that if one has failed the others may also go.
