With the advent of exhaust gas coolers they can be misguided but if used correctly by a person that knows whats infront of then they work well on any internal compustion engine...

A sniff test isn't that reliable on diesel engines. Your symptoms sound classic for hgf, there are v few problems that cause excess coolant pressure especially once the expansion cap is ruled out. I'd just grin an bare it for a while, then buy something that is worth fixing if something does go wro...

You dont need to remove any ball joints , Just undo and crack the track rod end and the shaft will pop out the hub on full lock... :-bd I have used the glue together split boots with success but you will need to be clinically clean all old grease will need removing and cleaned up... Get them spaced out closer to the arch??

And get some weight in the car you might be suprised once its closer to the floor

The dieference is in the caliper as the dics is twice the width,

Bora 4Motion calipers are the not sure on the Golf 4Motion though...

Caliper carriers do not wear,

if a caliper comes off whilst driving the results can be catastrophic.
