My newly purchased 2016 alltrack does the same mate. From what i have found on various forums is there’s a software update but can only be done at main dealers.

Re: wet carpet removal on B6

Hi. Can anyone give any tips on how to take out drivers side front and rear carpet on my b6. It's soaked and starting to stink. Grateful for other suggestions on how to dry out my car (dehumidifier is taking too long). Thanks.......Mike The carpet is all one piece buddy, so you would need to remove...

Re: Brake Pedal Sinking

Agree with all above as mine was the same but my fault was vacuum related. I changed all the fluid and bled the system twice (remember to do the clutch at the same time as it uses the same reservoir). Mine was better but still sank albeit a lot slower. At the time I was investigating oil getting in...

Re: Brake Pedal Sinking

Thanks for the replies. Fluid was changed around 4 months ago full flush with a pressure bleeder when I replaced the gearbox. No leaks anywhere checked them time and time again. Pumps up perfectly when engine off so this kind of skews me a bit. Brakes are strong and stop the car quickly. Didn't see...

Re: Coilovers fitted

Whats your opinion on the ride mate ? Do you think it's still pretty comfortable That's how mine looks ATM lol I don't think it's that bad to be honest. I've not had coilovers before so was a little apprehensive but now it's settling in and I've raised the back up its ok. The back was almost sittin...

With the adjusters wound to the bottom the front are 15 turns up and the back are 12 turns up. The back has settled even more now and the tyr...

Coilovers fitted

Hi all, Early Christmas treat for me, bought a set of FK coilovers last week direct from FK Germany. Really impressed with their service as they were delivered 4 working days after ordering them. :ymapplause: The quality is very good too for a budget set of coilovers, all comes packaged well (despit...

Stick with TRW. If the worse happens, being "OEM spec" won't matter if the finger is pointed at you  Didn't keep my 5.5 more than a year, but think that model too used TRW calipers with their pads. It's what the OEM actually fitted m'lud :ymhug: Pagid is fitted as oem. More often tha...

Thats all that came with the kit mate, what bump stops?? i took the shrouds off the rear shocks and fit them on the new ones though. the rear adjuster does bolt up through the arm with the bolt and big washer as you say. Thanks for the quick reply bud! There should have been a bump stop on the old/...

Re: Front Pads on a B6

Do you have a Eurocarparts near you? They have a current offer that will get you a set of Pagid (OEM spec) front pads for £21.80 with there code 'Pagid30'. There are two types, ones for 312mm discs and ones for 345mm. unless you have upgraded them or you have an r36 you will have 312mm discs see he...

Re: coilover fitting (all done now)

Hey mate, I've studied your pictures but can't quite see what I'm after... Did your rear spring adjusters have a bolt and huge washer screwed in from the bottom? I'm presuming this is how they are secured to the rear trailing arm but wanted to check? Also I see you didnt bother with a bump stop or d...

Re: Front suspension rattle

Just recalled i've done the dogbone too including the hockey puck mounts in the subframe. Clunking from moving the steering wheel is very pronounced and can be felt if you put your hand on the wheel or tyre-so the cause is connected to the steering system I think. Hi mate, I had a similar issue a y...
