On my older passats you could change the grab handle for a sunglasses holder On my old b7 passat there was a sunglasses holder on the roof panel. My drivers drivers side led is so dim its useless, whereas the passenger side is fine.

Has anyone tried replaceing the LED, or do you just have to by the complete part ? ( 5ta 947 105 c whi ? )

cheers for the replys I managed to get it running again, I was suprised how quickly it started once the injectors had been cracked open. There was still a lot of air bubbles in the fuel line even when its been running a while. I think I'll try the pipe connection in a bucket of diesel before and aft...

The only thing that seems wrong now is the presense of bubbles in the fuel line ( there is a short clear plastic length between the filter and engine ) I'm guessing there should be no bubbles
