Crankcase Breather Pipe to Air....

So today I have been having a fiddle around and carried out the Vac Simplification Mod. Whilst I was there I also relocated the N75 valve to just behind the airbox for easier access etc. This got me thinking about the crankcase breather pipe, because on my previous Pashat the owner had done the EGR ...

Re: Getting flashed because of new headlights

Yeah mine failed the MOT cos of the bulbs. My tester said the pattern etc was very good, but as they not standard fitment he has to fail it, so I put normal ones back in for the retest. Then swapped them back. I will be fitting 4500k when I get round to it.

Re: Getting flashed because of new headlights

What power are they chap? 4500k/6000k etc etc I fitted 5000k to mine and I think they are a little too bright also. They are perfectly aligned, I don't get flashed, but a mate who I was following to the FittedUK show said they were bright. I believe that 4500k is about right. Sent from my brain Tele...

Yeah that's worth a try incase it's lost its grip.

Yup

And believe me I have double checked everything is tight on both sides. It might very well be the pads, and since I did the bearings they just aren't happy.

Re: Front caliper spring clip

Funnily enough after replacing my front wheel bearings I now have the same click from the front drivers. I thought I might need to replace the spring clip too. There was zero click before I changed the bearings (I'm not saying it has anything to do with them cos it doesn't) Don't want to have to buy...

Re: No boost

N75/N18 basically the same thing (think the N75 has a slightly larger opening inside which lets it respond quicker)

Re: No boost

I had a similar issue a while ago except mine was flat until around 2k revs then would pick up, I swapped out the N75 valve below the turbo for a spare I had and it sorted the prob.

Re: P0299 turbo underboost

Fully agree that Mr Muscle is, at best, a temporary fix and IMO a waste of time if you want to keep the car. I had better results when running the car with a couple of bottles of Forte Turbo Cleaner added to the fuel, but it still doesn't cure the problem and it's quite easy to spend over £100 over...
