What happened to your Speedlines? Looks absolutely stunning Not a huge fan of 3SDM's they don't suit the car.

Re: APR Carbonio intake or BMC induction kit?
Hhhhmmm....I'm still slightly leaning towards buying the APR intake, vwnutant gave me a plus sign. Won't be doing it till next year anyway, as I am going on xmas holiday. Might change my mind when I come back, but for now I'm going ahead with APR intake. I agree with you, I will save money and could...

Re: APR Carbonio intake or BMC induction kit?
I've seen APR going for £230 on Awesome GTI inc VAT. Indy is expensive! What have you fitted, panel or induction?

Re: APR Carbonio intake or BMC induction kit?
I've PM vwnutant, let's see what he comes up with. My car has been remapped and dpf off, I did rolling road on my Skoda Octavia VRS Tdi, results were 195 BHP, 400 NM of torque, 150 BHP at the wheels. Is it worth getting these induction kit or an aftermarket panel filter? I may fit FMIC next year, if...

APR Carbonio intake or BMC induction kit?
Anyone fitted one of these induction kits? I want to fit one of these bad boys in my car, but can't seem to find good reviews for tdi engines.
Any suggestions?

Re: Dyno test on my Skoda Octavia VRS...
Might pump them up a little by 37 psi, as the front tyres seems to be flat when parked up. Must of misread some of the text. I am going to fit Eibach springs

Re: Dyno test on my Skoda Octavia VRS...
I'll take your advice and go for 235/35/17, as the tyres fitted now are pretty *no swearing*. Cause of the immense torque the car skids in 3rd gear, even past 3K rpm. The rear tyres are odd make, N/S is Bridgestone, and O/S I think it's Michelin. Both have different tread pattern. How much psi shoul...

Re: Dyno test on my Skoda Octavia VRS...
Thanks for the advice guys...
I might be leaning towards Goodyear F1 from Camskills. Would you recommend fitting wider tyres? 235 or 245 on rear?
I want stiffer sidewalls so will go for XL.

Re: Dyno test on my Skoda Octavia VRS...
The high transmission loss figure is probably due to your wheel/ tyre combination . The budget front tyres is what is causing your loss of traction. If you fitted 16 inch wheels and different tyres you would probably get a different reading off the dyno. Karl. Gotcha Karl, these are 17's on budget ...

Re: Dyno test on my Skoda Octavia VRS...
The mods has been granted
Front tyres are budget ones, so I'm going to fit Michelins, or Falkens on all four tyres. The person who did dyno test (Mark) said the car was skidding alot in 1st gear, traction was turned off. A lot of power loss is down to tyres.
Transmission loss, is that a bad sign?

Dyno test on my Skoda Octavia VRS...
Went to South West Car In Tech today for a dyno test. I was expecting to be somewhere near 200bhp, but end result's showed Run 1,192 BHP engine power, 290 ft lb of torque/393NM, 145.5 BHP at the wheels, Run 2 see below. Pretty impressive, it is very aggressive when foot to the floor, as traction lig...

Thanks for the warm comments :) I'm glad to be back in the VAG group, will look forward to the club meets. I bought myself a Skoda Octavia VRS TDI in black of course :D It has been remapped, and dpf removed going to do dyno test next week. It ridiculously quick, don't know the exact figures but my guess is somewhere in 220 BHP! Pics.... http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7351/10787140525_32e7f704c5_b.jpg http...
