Having some issues fitting a bypass relay for a towbar install on my B8 passat estate.
Has anyone successfully fitted one? Would love to get some info or find a past thread.

Ok, thanks for ideas.
With a full charge, the car started up, although it took its time to do so. Still every warning under the sun. But as pointed out, once I drove it round the block all of the errors cleared...Phew! So it's unlikely I damaged anything on the Canbus side of the electrics I hope ...

I’ve charged the battery and this seems to have helped get the car started online…still loads of errors coming up. What would cause this?

I’ve just bricked my b8 estate!!!
Attempting to fit a tow bar and related bypass relay. Don’t think I did anything silly but the car is now going mental. I’ve removed all the towbar wiring, disconnected the battery for 10 mins,…but no, it’s just going bonkers. Nav/ent system dead, all the warning ...
