I will have in 2 weeks complete engine with gearbox 1.8T from passat 2002 for £400 :-bd is it £400 for engine and box only or could you throw in the ecu and the loom and any other bits i need to get that engine running in my car? and is it inc delivery? I live in littlehampton in west sussex. :esm

Its definitely popping. Like a very rich running engine. God only knows what it will sound like if i fit a straight through exhaust now. Lol

Just been in touch with a vw tuning specialist(used to be G Workx) and he is happy to take it apart and sort the problem out. The fuel consumption is very bad atm. Also Defo gonna invest in a lead off ebay and that free software. I was under the impression that cost lots.

Also just a long shot here but is it worth fitting bigger injecters while im at it and would this be beneficial for a NA engine?

That does sound fairly straight forward. I shall give it a go. So would you say change all 4 injectors or the harness or the complete set?

I can do most mechanical and electronic work on cars but never done any injecter related work and wouldnt know where to start mate Lol.

Just had vagcom done and its showing injecter circuit is open on cylinder 1 and 3. What does this mean and what is the cure guys? Engine is doing my head in. Need to drop a turbo lump in there me thinks lol
