Sorry for being an idiot but im just wandering what is the difference between turning off the ESP and leaving it on?

I tried both and the car feels the same to me? or maybe im not driving enthusiastically enough?

Any thoughts?

Its been boiling hot these days so i thought id try and use the B6's air con..then I realised it doesnt have one :( I have the SE version and it has the manual dials lowest it goes to is 18's (well thats what it says on the dial) my car doesnt get cold for about 15mins so sumhow i dont think its air...
