Re: Insurance NCD Question
They already know your claims history as they have access to the CUE system, they just want your confirmation in writing. Just claiming for a windscreen chip or even making an inquiry about a incident is logged and can affect your premiums.

Re: Tyre shop badly scratches pristine alloy wheel and offer
Ask them who will do the repair, if it is man in a van it may look fine for a short while. Down in the correct conditions inside in a nice warm unit it should be as good as new.

Re: PDR
Classic example of somebody not knowing about us, did a dent on the swage line of a 2012 Freelander today and charged the bodyshop I did the work for £45. They charged the customer £630 for a side paint which after I finished they did not do, just a little rub over with the machine polisher. Happe...

Bepe, I did not answer your question in full, sorry about that. I often refer people to this write up as a small intro to what we do. Methods of repair The most common methods of paintless dent repair utilize metal rods and body picks to push the dents out from the under side of the body panel. Addi...

OK then I will apologise. Maybe after many years of people spouting dry ice and pop corn repairs I am getting more cynical, I am passionate about my trade and will defend it when required. I doubt if you had told me in person you could do PDR that I would have responded the same as the spoken words ...

I am not after your respect far from it, this is a Passat forum and my work represents what we can do as a trade for Passat owners.
