Re: 2 ltr petrol B5.5 question

It will take longer as you have the heater on but not much longer.

I had the 2.0 azm engine and changed the stat on it after about a year of having similar issues

Easy to do on azm, is yours azm or alt (i think the other engine was)

Re: FFS.. from Monday..

Speeding does not kill, only stupid people kill and thats 100% proven and I can give video evidence if needed. I for one do not speed in 20's or 30's as the chance of a stupid person stepping out is increased, and i'd rather not karcher blood on my drive. Over those limits I tend to drive to what ...

For future ref, buy a syringe on ebay which comes with 3mm silicone tube. What the tube on top of the turbo, sit down and pull the syring up and push down, then after a whille, pull it up and just let it go to spring down. You get some dodgy looks from neighbours though, or I did whilst sat down on ...

Bargain as far as im aware a dsg oil change service was £180 or so for the oil alone. So should be cheaper for the punters

Re: FFS.. from Monday..

Its mis leading, the ONLY thing changing is the 100% to 150%.

So if you get caught speeding just over you still get your 3 points and £100 fine.

A lot of mis info going round making it sound like hell, but its only if your case goes to court, and then you could get upto 150%

Re: Very quiet in here, very quiet...

The sooner we can get out of the eu the better. Some car diseasels are causing early deaths to people, which I think is tripe and the fact that older diesels would have to pay extra to drive just re-enforces this whole debacle is based upon more money to local councils and not "saving" lives. The ...

Re: Very quiet in here, very quiet...

Im getting an octavia vrs petrol next, i was hoping more than £2k for scrappage and even that might be filtered for people on low income - whatever that is deemed to be. The problem is im near southampton and its possible older diesels will be banned/heavily taxed to enter the city alone. Its ...

What I dont understand is all new cars have drl's which I thought was a legal requirement, but then you can turn them off permently inside, wait what? Personally I prefer the yellower side lights as its oem and makes my non oem (cough) hid's look better. Its like the bmw halogen halos with xenon in ...

Being a highline the colour you need is anthracite.

Loads of variations of p/n's so best go into your local dealer.

It comes with the knob aswell so wont be cheap

Is the other person only going through insurance? If not ask go to a garage and ask them to give you a quote then forward it on to them plus £100 for your time
