When you got 150 miles on £20 it must have been a while ago when fuel was cheaper ??? But 83 miles for a diesel does seem a bit thirsty...I used to get about 100/110 on £20 Are you using supermarket diesel ?? If so try the premium ones...super unleaded And have you had the car for a service latel...

right I've had a few diesel passats in the past and have been over the moon with the mpg but the new bus is proving to be a greedy b***ard.. The fuel light came on I put £20 in and the car got 83 miles and the light came back on. I've done this 3 times now and every time i've not got much more.. I ...

my 130 gives a bit of smoke on first start up in the morning but bar that shes clear.
My 110 was a bit smokey until I blanked of the egr after that it never gave a puff

dashboard wiring loom advice saloon to wagon?
right the dash loom went on fire on my b5 wagon I've been offered a complete b5 saloon the same age do you think the dash loom will be the same?

first job I done on my 110 was the egr valve delete as you say better throttle response and we were getting better mpg as well.
will be doing this to the 130 asap and hope it gives as good results on it as it did on the 110

yea we've got a few things to sort out but nothing major.
we're loving the colour and chrome combo but planning on a debadged grill.
front drivers wing has a bit of a blister on the arch
passengers wing has a wee bit on it to but again as said were happy with it

that's maybe what's saved it as the Auto box wouldn't have kept the crank turning where as a manual box would have kept the crank turning when the car was coasting still in gear.

B5 Interior in a B5.5, So it will work the other way around. i think the sport style material on the B5.5 interior sucks. :sad: The material on the B5 sport interior is much nicer and softer. :wink: I totally agree with you on this I know where there's a b5 sport wag...

you can put the center console in but the hand brake is in different place How??? :???: i have a B5.5 and a B5 handbrake console in my garage and they look the same but lack of ODB port on the B5.5. even the B5 armrest (that i have in the garage also) fits in the B5.5 handbrake console.
