Thanks for all the advice

I tried disconnecting the battery left it for a bit longer this time
It worked. All central locking back to normal

Thanks for the advice.
I have checked the ccm again and all wires all dry.
Fuse is ok.
I can unlock the doors with the button inside the car.
So all the locks work.

How would I check to see which door mec had gone?
Are the expensive?

One more thing. Before I had this problem. When I locked ...

I've got the same problem on a 51 plate tdi.
Ccm has been checked and is dry.
Only started when I had to get a jump start.
Did u fix yours?

Cheers for that.
I have tried that and also found the CCM which i thought may have got wet. (it hasnt)
The fuse for the central locking is also ok.

Central Locking issue

Hey all
Hope you can help.
My central locaking has just packed up on my TDI.
the key fobe unlocks the drivers door, nothing else.
i can use the button on the inside of the driver door to open the rest
the tailgate button works on the key fob.

I did have a problem starting my car in this weather ...

Yeah looks Similar to mine, Mine is a 51, TDI SE (130)

No, im not in suffolk. I got quoted over 100 from VW plus 25 for the fixings....
Trouble is its starting to break up now, the plastic is quite thin.

underbody protection

Hi all

Hope you can help, i have a Se TDI And i have smashed the underbody protection, its the part that fixes tothe font bumper and the goes rearward until it fixes to another plastic bit.

At the moment i have cable tied it and it is just holding, however its in bit and keeps dropping down onto ...
