Iv had another look today the arm does move when its 1st started up but not with the car being reved up. Is there ment to be a spring on the arm? If there is mines missing

It's common rail engine and it's on the right. So I think it's electric not actuator on the look of it. The plastic arm doesn't move at from watching it. Iv seen videos online of the same engine and manifold when the engine is reved the arm moves that's why I thought it should be moving

Ok thanks I'm managed to get all the tempts hot enough. So I think thermostat is ok. tried to get it to run regen process but nothing happens so maybe will have use a different tool. Can't get it to regen on the Motor way because the engine management kicks in and cuts power. All the little problems...

Ok thanks. The gauge on the car says 90 or just over but then when I read it on laptop to try start a regen it's only shows max 79 so I don't know if the temp sensor is playing up or the dials not correct even at lower temps the dial doesn't match what the diag temp tells me

Iv been trying to do a force regen to see if helps with the smoking issue on the car. Today the car was worse than usual. i noticed if stopped turn the car off and back the blue smoke would stop for a while. Driving home again got blue smoke but then cleared. I thinking of taking the dpf off to clean it out let it dry out put it back on and do a dpf regen with the laptop maybe might ...

Ok thanks yes I was planning on taking it apart a bit give everything a good clean. so far all iv done is have a look around the vacuum pipes make sure was connected and not cracked or split any were. Been giving it a Italian tune today whilst at work. Was fine for 1st 2 hours no smoke and ran well....

I bought a new caliper just to be sure. Turned up today and the plastic motor housing cracked and come some were between being sent and delivered. Can't get a break ATM with anything. Was hoping to fit it the weekend. The lights on the dash are there yes saying brake fault

Ok so not having a good time with this car had it less than a week's. Car had been ok break issue wise was driving stop got out came back after 5 mins went to drive rear drivers side breaks stuck 😖. Jacked it up unplugged the electronic plug plus it back in to see if it would reset tried to reset it...

So took laptop with me today on dual carriageway again fault happens again when get to 70 was staying below it and was getting no codes. Got closer to work so went to 70. When I stopped plugged it in got same codes plus a new one which was p0401 so I gather that's something to do with the egr aswell...

The blues smoking isn't just on start ups and some times there's no smoke then all off a sudden just clouds

Yeah thanks it's the smoking that's the worst bit. Need to drive it ATM tho. As for the boost issue was hoping it was more of a vacum issue then turbo. Will have to have a good nose around when I can
