is he reident up there ???? if not must have been holidaying as well....it was just sheer surprise that we saw the car day after but about 5o miles south of keswick..............just appeared from a side road in the middle of nowhere, just north of kirkby lonsdale.

cheers m8 feel a whole lot more confident now..it was just the thought of removing the bumper bar and having the damn bolts sheer or something,i`m not gonna rush it as i dont use the car every day so it`s a case of steady as you go !!!!!!!!!!

so by undoing the aircon rad i can move it just far enough out of the way to get at and change the coolant rad,will the aircon rad pivot or fall to the ground (with an expensive) thud, bearing in mind this is my first attempt and im fairly confident i can do it.

hi i`ve dismantled all as per the link till i got to ( pic 6 ) then stumped,i am sure this needs to come off to swing the aircon rad out of the way http://passat-repairs.blogspot.com/2011 ... iator.html

i have just started to dismantle my 2004 1.9tdi 130bhp to replace the radiator,only problem is i have got to the stage where the steel bumper impact bar needs removing and it appears i havn`t got the torx screws to fit the bolts ,so my question is can anybody please tell me the size i need so i can ...

turns out after a visit to vw dealers it wasn`t even a vw part, so a local vw indie specialist who i use for all my work removed them for me.now just have to source some more,any suggestions ?

Can anybody tell me how easy/hard it is to aquire another locking wheel nut adapter, as mine has just sheared when trying to change a flat on my 2004 1.9 130bhp estate.the adapter has a code on it and i wondered if it was as easy as walking into vw main dealers and them have 1 in stock.any help/advi...
