Changed the Diff oil OK, the rear fill and drain and the front drain are M20, but the front fill is the smaller one similar to the Haldex fill.

Unfortunately common sense doesn't always come in to it. There are Standards to be upheld! Specifications to be met. That's why we have rules....he says cutting the cats out.

If the beam direction and cutoff are well defined there shouldn't be a problem with LEDs. Don't know how that's achieved with projectors though.
I had to remove my after marked HIDs from my bike cos they are illegal. but passed LEDs no problem.

Well three places have confirmed Gen 2 so I've ordered genuine VW oil and filter and fill and drain plugs.

If something occurred to leave a hole in the bellhousing I would have thought you might have heard or felt something!
Manual gearboxes/Bell housings have drain holes in the bottom in case of Crankshaft seal failure. Stops the clutch getting contaminated and is a good indication of something amiss.

Can anyone point me towards a manual that covers the Passat B6 AXZ.
No Haynes manuals cover the Passat or Golf V6.

I believe my B6 has the Gen 2 Haldex. So I think these are right...
