Thanks for replies.Its the screws holding dash in place that have to be removed I cant seem to locate.Mine's a 2002 tdi 130bhp sport model,if that helps??

Can't locate 377 relay???
Hi, my replacement relay has arrived wiper relay 377. I'm swapping it for the rain sensor relay on my 51 tdi sport passat.(no gel in replacement windscreen sensor etc,plus I much prefer being able to control the intermittent wipe..) I can't seem to locate were the relays are located? can anyone help...

Just ordered a 377 relay for my tdi sport with auto wipers which do not work properly due to gel pad not being fitted during last owners windscreen replacement. The rain sensor needs a gel pad between the sensor and the screen. I only know this as I had to have a new windscreen. Without this gel pad the system does not work. My old passat 1.8T petrol v 1999 reg had an intermittent wiper setting that I could adjust/control manualy by which setting the stalk was on.You could set it to slow/medium/fast intermittent. hve you tried putting the key in the boot and ulocking manualy? With the car locked put the key in the boot lock then turn to the closed position and then to open in quick sucsession. its just a shot in the dark but i used to have to do this(but other way around) to get my passenger door to lock so...

It seems that the deadlock or childlock or both is stuck on this rear door...... has anyone solved this problem,or is able to point me in the right direction for a solution.
(checked cables and wiring leading to door from drivers door pillar,all fine...)

The door wont open manually,the door just refuses to open, tried changing child lock settings on drivers door etc.....
