Re: Anyone had or driven a Mazda RX8?
Strange car to drive tbh, feels like its slow but it's not. It gets up to speed very quick but you have to use the revs. When my son bought one I warned him about the running costs but he wouldn't listen. After the first few weeks with the car he started to moan about the cost of running it. All was...

Re: What did you do to your Passat today?
Give car a full service (over due ) But also done the n/s cv joint yesterday.
Had no problems with ether which makes a change even sorted out a rattle I had in the engine bay.
May give a wash and hover next week and really spoil the car

Re: B5.5 Sport spring paint dot colours?
Looking at the other spring it looks to be quite a newish one, it not rusty at all and still has its paint in tact. When you look at the side profile of the car the "good side" looks normal, ie the wheel gaps front and rear look as they should be, but the "bad side" does not. The...

B5.5 Sport spring paint dot colours?
Need to know what the paint dot colours are on a 2002 Tdi 130 Sport Saloon. Front spring snapped the other day and got my local garage to change the spring but i think they have fitted a "normal" spring and not a Sport one as the car is higher by about 3/4 inch. Been in today and getting a...

Re: double din
Know what you mean as the space is there to fit a single din, but i think you will need the bits that have been cut out to fit the single din.
Not saying it cant be done but dont think its a simple case of remove double din set up and fit single din.

Re: double din
Dont think it would be a easy swap tbh. I went from single din to double in my last Passat and had to cut loads out the dash to get it in. Behind the face of the double din is just a large gap where in the single din there was quite a bit of plastic that was molded with the dash. Have a look at my h...

Re: 1.8t 20v or not?
I had a 18T Sport (APU) and would not have another 1. Got a 130 TDI Sport now and love it. With the 18T i was getting mid to low 20's when driving like a tit and high(ish) 30's when driven like a old man, would say i would of seen 40's on a run but never had it on one. It was not a bad car but i jus...

I would try VW and get a price for that as its not that big of a rod.
To change it your fitter will have to lower the box to get to the bolt on the n/s.

New cluster will be coded to the car you took it off so wont work with yours.
