That's seems about right, recirculating in the cold so the system is just drying the air in the cabin and not from the outside will clear the windows quicker in colder weather.

Unfortunately not, The low brake pad light is sort of universal so it's not that.
I was watching it this morning and it seemed to change colour when the abs light goes out, I'm not sure now but I have definitely not noticed it before if it's a self check.

Hi guys Started the car the other morning and noticed that while dashboard does its checks and the lights go out before starting the engine, the brake pedal light starts red then turns green, I have never noticed it red before. Do you think it's to do with the cold weather or is there another problem?

Those are smd LEDs, can buy rolls of them on Ebay,

I used them on my old omega's to change the colour of the gear selector lights.
