b3's tend to rust less, they must have been using the same steel as mk2 golfs. front end is much cooler on the b3

10-40 semi morris is what i use in my 1.6td and 1.9td

great engine there, as said above u should block of that pipe as u have no lda on your pump, being the eco td u should get plenty mpg

i would like to know this aswell, i would think most mk2 golf ones fit the front but what about the rear?

its not so bad if u mix it with pump diesel, heres some helpful guides

well it just gets rid of the glycerin out of the oil. you can mix methanol and sodium lye to make sodium methoxide. u mix that in with the veggi oil and then u wash it with water a few times. how often do u have to change your fuel filter?

do u wash the veg oil in water? or add any methanol?

ive got ta tecnik ones on my b3 and they are great for what they cost, most coilys will be bumpy. dont really matter how much u spend

its more than likely to be the front engine mount (10 min job), the knocking could be a ball joint. the 1.6td are very good on fuel. does it have an intercooler?
