Re: no radio reception
Thanks for your reply DMitch16. I've had the head unit out - checked the connections (the CD works fine) aerial plugs located well. I've checked continuity to the rear window amp (ebay replacement - not checked because I can't find any diagnostics) and cleaned the rear screen contact plates with iso...

no radio reception
This is the OEM RCD300 ON a 2006 B6 all I get is hiss on all radio channels - FM & AM. The rear screen aerial connection has been swapped and there is 12volt on each coax cable. Any thoughts? What should the resistance be across the contacts on the rear screen?

Re: epb problem on steep hill
as all the parameters you mention have been satisfied and I'd already used it once successfully on a lesser slope during the same journey, this is why I 'm wondering if the attitude sensor is suspect. Can I test it ? or can it be reset by disconnecting the battery?

Re: epb problem on steep hill
thanks for your reply. So far I've only found this happening at traffic lights or a T-junction and usually with someone behind me so I'm very conscious of holding the traffic up. I can reverse out of my drive which is fairly steep. I've been looking for a steep hill somewhere quiet to try it.

epb problem on steep hill
I'm very new to Passats. (1.9 tdi manual 2006) I've only had it for 2 weeks and found it fine - handbrake comes off automatically when driving off even on a moderatley steep hill. BUT on a really steep hill it refuses to release, eventually after much dippling of clutch, hitting of EPB button, revev...
