Hi all, got a new light on the dash and a new error code to boot. Any experience in dealing with P0403 on a 2007 b6 passat 2.0l fsi (no turbo model). Was just there when i turned the car on today. Any idea if its a costly fix?

Thank you, brake fluid was fine. No signs of leakage around the master cylinder or slave cylinder. Assuming its something I can't see. Update: Seems the noise has vanished once the oil gets up to temp. It was ticking every 0.5 seconds or so, not extremely rapid like normal engine noises.

Turned the car on this morning and i heard a clicking/ticking/chirping noise coming from the direction of the timing belt housing.

I had the belt changed a couple of months ago but this is the first I've noticed any noises.

Any ideas?

Only had this since May and its only 12k miles so not getting it swapped. It'll do for now. 150ps is plenty. No idea if its the model with seal problems or carbon build up. May very well be. How do i avoid or negate or fix these issues?
