I just went back through the receipts and the door latch was a brand new part from TPS apparently so that rules that part out (I think)
I will check the wiring part in the door if that seems feasible

Drivers side door
Right guys this has been annoying me for a long time now and I need to get it sorted coming to winter. Most of the time now, I come to the drivers door after unlocking with the fob and the handle just feels like there is no resistance, I use the windows down on the fob and pull the inside handle and...

Re: Washer jets
Hi,
No, cant hear the pump with the bonnet up either.
I didn't want to disturb anything on the bonnet side as the jets look like its integrated into the underside.
I will pull the pipe from the nozzle and see what happens and report back

Washer jets
Hi Guys,
Washer jets aren't working, can't hear the pump but don't know how loud they are on these cars anyway (should it be audible?)
I have looked online to see if there was a fuse for the B6 washer pump but couldn't find anything, some said it was controlled by the control module?

Re: Electronic Brake Stuck
Just to add to this, its also much cheaper to replace the switch. Make sure you get a genuine one, I tried a few non genuine that didn't fix my issue, genuine one did first time. Pop the side cover off (to the right of the switch) and push the switch from the back to get it out, might be worth just ...

Re: Removing the plastic intercooler pipe on a BKP
Mines the opposite, in 2nd, 3rd and 4th it'll get to around 3 or 4k before it goes into limp mode. 5th and 6th gear its always around 2,500 rpm. I haven't checked the N75 and wouldn't even know how to, so I was just going for the cheapest part to replace first and work at it that way really. Thanks ...

Re: Removing the plastic intercooler pipe on a BKP
Thanks for the info :-bd Mine suffers from the engine management light at around 2,500rpm and I've been reading a lot online and its usually suggested to try and replace this sensor before the turbo, its usually the turbo caked in cr*p but as mine is a little intermittent as in sometimes if you driv...

Also why did you change the sensor?

My car is due a service and I have everything needed except the oil, I have seen lots of conflicting information so thought I would ask the question

Re: Help please and Hello all
Have you tried another battery? It sounds like the battery isn's supplying power to buttons.
I think when you are starting the car, it only requires the chip to be read (no battery power)

Hi Mindriot, I do also appreciate your input, however when it comes across as condescending and rude (intentional or not) it was further down the priority list to actually resolving the issue I am experiencing. Your recommendations of what unit to get after the event is of no use to anyone except fo...

Hi Guys, had the old RCD300 unit replaced with an Android system last Saturday and all has been fine until about Wednesday, it is intermittent The unit wouldn't boot so I messaged the guy who fitted it and he said to pull the fuse under the bonnet for the radio which seemed to fix the issue (for ref...
