Am I right in thinking that the 2.0 20v engine in 2003 B5.5 has the enginecode ALT? Seeing as my Cambelt just snapped and I didnt have the time call some garages today, does anyone roughly know what it would cost to have it repaired? Or would it be better just buying another engine and get it swappe...

where does it get stuck, because the lock itself is moving freely, but it doesnt click in when i do it by hand, it just snaps back open.

i pulled the bonnet release on the passat yesterday and opened it and now it wont shut, doesnt matter how hard i slam it shut. also the bonnet release handle doesnt seem to have any resistance anymore. what could that be? snapeed bonnet release cable?

yeah that must have been me, I regularly go up and down the m1 to go and see my girlfriend. Not now though as Im working in germany for this summer. i did have a set of 18's but recently sold them, i have since found out that the woman who bought em for her golf has ruined the passenger side wheels by scrapin em along the kerb

the rear lights on the estates are the same shape, but I know there is something you need to modify but cant remember now if you have to modify the connections or the way they are secured on the chassi.

I had a problem with the rear door lock on my car. the lock wasnt working at all and neither was the electric window. The problem was that the connector block within the rubber which goes between door and b pillar had become lose. Would recommend checking these connections because I was so close to ...

I think he was just taking the wee because I am thinking about supercharging it, but he obviously hasnt got a clue because superchargers dont "kick in", in fact they deliver the power in a very linear manner
