Re: Steering wheel

CC is not part of the wheel. You can fit a CC stalk but it needs coding after to work. Can you delete the duplicate posts as you have 3 on this. The Multi Function B5.5 wheel has the cruise control on the wheel mate. You can fit it to a B5 yes, wiring kits are avaliable to fit the CC and have it wo...

Re: Replace rear brakes without VCDS?

Winding back the caliper piston against an unparked motor will cause voltage fluctuations through the module boards. Also any brake work on the rear should be supported by a battery charger to ensure 12 volts voltage is maintained as low voltages can also cause damage to early brake modules. It is ...

Re: Will this pass my MOT ?

The faulty led light could well be an easy fix.
I did the high level brake light on my x5 only part of it worked.(50%)
I found a how to on the net showing where to solder a bridge wire on and job done all led's working again.

Have all the LED's failed on the old light ?. Only 3 LEDs work out of 13 Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk 7 would have passed. I go...

Re: please help i have starting problems on my B6

Silly question but do you park it on a slope ?.
I had a problem starting my b5.5 and parked one way round it wouldn't start the other way round it would.
Fuel was running back to the tank as it was getting a slight bit of air in the line where it joins the filter.

That puff of black smoke that you get when you floor it pedal in the carpet should clear after a bit as the engine is only getting fresh air now.

It does more good than harm.
Used it for years myself in many diesels I have owned.
You might notice an increase in mpg as well but it takes time for it to work it's magic lol.

250mil to a full tank but start with a bit more.
I decant mine into 100mil bottles that I keep in the car and put one each time I top up the tank.
