2 problems...
Hi all, I have two problems with my b5.5 and I'm hoping they are easily solved. 1) Drivers headlight is out, easy to do? Changed them no problems on previous cars but the Passat seems to have a lot of covers blocking getting into the headlights and the manual doesn't say anything to help. 2 ...

Re: Good repairs and service place?
Hi all,
Sorry if this is posted in the wrong place.
I am looking for somewhere recommended to take the Passat for repairs and service in West London and maybe a little further out to get a good deal.
I live in Ealing so anywhere an hour away would be fine. Thanks guys!

BBS Alloys - Questions...
Hi all, A guy on eBay was selling a set of "genuine" 17" RC's. He says the front ones are 8x17 ET35 and the rear are 9x17 ET32. A guy I know in the states runs 17" RC's and says his are all 7.5x17 and are ET43 and thinks the ones the guy was selling are fake. Would just like some advice on this, and ...

The plates are legal! The spacing is correct and the font too. Also has company that ...

Good VW Service Place in South Coast
Hi all,
Can anyone recommend a good place to go for service / MOT / repairs in the South Coast??
Anywhere in Kent, London, Surrey, Hampshire or Wiltshire would be fine. Someone you guys trust with your Passats and use VAG parts etc.
Thank you!

Re: Rear Wiper Problem
It's tight, I can't even move the arm from the strange position its now sitting at.
Maybe need VAG-com to help me? Or trip to the stealers?
Or maybe some WD-40 if it's just stiff?

Rear Wiper Problem
Got in the car this morning and it had been raining overnight so went to sweep the back window.
Blade went about two inches then stopped dead. Switched the car off and on, nothing. Push the stick fully back and got the screenwash to come out but no movement from the wiper arm.
Any ideas?

Re: Anyone fitted the sunglasses holder?
Was a piece of p1ss to fit, thanks guys.
Only comment - I'm just glad I don't wear big aviators or something as it can barely even hold my little sunnys, does not close back up fully to the trim, bit of a gap.
Not much room in their, might use it to keep a secret stash of sweets or something haha!

Anyone fitted the sunglasses holder?
Hi,
Has anyone on here fitted the sunglasses holder that goes where the drivers side grab handle is? Few screws no problems?
I've got a b5.5, not actually 100% sure the part is compatible for my car as its got curtain airbags?
Any help appreciated
