Re: New car for first time driver

At risk of being lynched I'd suggest something Japanese. My son's 1.33 Yaris was bought with about 60K on her. She's now over 110K with absolutely nothing changed/replaced etc, except routine servicing & tyres. Cheap tax and good mpg. Another one in the family was similarly reliable. Maybe worth...

Re: New Android unit, poor reception

Maybe worth contacting this company:

https://www.dabonwheels.co.uk

Although they're mainly for DAB they are very knowledgeable and might be able to help.

Good Luck.

Re: How to stop battery going flat when car not in use ?

As an alternative to disconnection how about something like a solar car battery charger? I haven't used one myself but maybe worth a look? https://www.amazon.co.uk/AA-5060114614185-Solar-Powered-Battery-Charger/dp/B00AC1LLQY Andy. Oops! Sorry, I clearly didn't read the original post properly. Good ...

Adding USB to B6 with RCD300 unit

Hi all, Newbie on here so please be gentle :) . I've just bought a 2008 1.9 TDi B6 estate with the RCD300 unit. All my car music is on 32GB USB - 320kbps MP3. As far as I can find out the RCD300 does not support either USB input or 320kbps format. :( So, my question is where to next? I do not need S...

Fitting Dash cams front and rear

Hi all, First "technical" question post :D . I'm transferring my front & rear dash cams (Nextbase 212's) from my previous car into my 2008 B6 1.9 TDi estate These were hard wired into additional 12V sockets (cigarette lighter sockets in old money!). Powered when the ignition came on. I...
