Mine is a 2019 model 1.5 dsg and beside all the previously mentioned items it came with panoramic sun roof as standard. I specified heated steering wheel and heated windscreen and different trim as well.

I don't think that is an option. I use Waze on my I phone through Apple car play. Lots of up to date information on there.

That weight is only about the same as two normal sized people, your car is capable of carrying five 85kg people with ease.

Just done 120 miles on mainly dual carriageway and motorway with a bit of B roads thrown in for good measure and returned 47mpg for the trip. I do not wear lead boots, but do use active cruise a fair bit, normally set at national speed limits. Car is a B8 estate GT with dsg on the new 1.5 engine.

Not had any problems with heated steering wheel yet, but have found that sometimes when I have disabled stop/start, it will turn itself on again.

I have noticed that I get more chips/scratches than on any of my previous cars. I had thought that maybe the paint is softer than the other cars I've had.

Can anybody tell me where the microphone is situated in the Passat GT B8? At the moment I am shouting in all directions trying to get Waze to answer.

As yet, no problems apart from the drivers heated seat not working - in today for that.

As far as I can see on the forums, it is only on the 1.5 evo engines and nearly always has been reported on manual transmissions.
I tried mine today by putting it into manual mode, but could not replicate the fault. PHEW!!!

Only occurred for the first time today and very minor. BUT... will it get worse? I suppose only time will tell. It was just for the first couple of hundred yards and the weather was quite warm - just after midday.

Has anyone with the 1.5 dsg engine had any of the kangarooing that has been reported over the last 12 months, on all VAG forums, and on Honest John.
