Thanks again. I've read about the injectors but only effecting certain engine codes.
With a car of ~100k I'm hoping most issues will have already been dealt with?

Any other items I'd be looking out for? Alternative engine being the 136bhp?

Wow, thanks for the quick and detailed response! Dmf and dpf I expected, they are almost service items. I've heard and read about the electronic handbreak as too the ignition barrel items. The other items are worrying. I'm relatively handy and would self service but I'm after a car that'll run for a...

On the look out for the above car (~2007 2.0tdi 170bhp estate SEL)
Are there any common faults or things to look out for when buying? I'd be interested in any pointers.
Rusty wings? Dpf issues? Avoid dsg? Strong engines?
