I didn't notice any difference, maybe slight increase in whistle noise. Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk interesting, i like noise .. I may get a bit more too, it's got a pipercross panel filter and an EGR & DPF delete, and no backbox from factory either, just the middle silencer which I've ...

Re: RNS-315
it does have DAB and that's how you would find it, but they can still be activated/deactivated by VCDS the below link is a guide on how to enable bluetooth via vcds, but if you look at the 4th screenshot, you can see the option for dab under bit 4 https://www.remkoweijnen.nl/blog/2011/08/26/rns-315-...

Re: RNS-315
Ok I've fitted it today .. it all works including the NAV, apart from I can't find how to access DAB radio only am/fm
It's definitely a DAB unit as it has the black connector on the back which I've plugged into .. I'm guessing it may be a case of someone with VCDS having to enable DAB on the unit?

Re: RNS-315
The unit will need coding so the other modules on the car accept it (a bit like entering a key code on an old headunit). It will also need coding to add items such as visual park distance control, reverse camera etc. The car it has come from may have had these installed and if yours doesn't, it wil...

Probably a case of having to as riveted in ? All very easy , panel damping essential and extra noise foam recommended too . Here's B5.5 info . https://ukpassats.co.uk/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=92183 looking to upgrade mine too, had a read through that and was wondering if you still recommend the JBL St...

upgrade my RCD310
so in an ideal world I'd get something super nice like an rns510 or a discover media, but they're out of budget! so that makes me think rns315? or rns310? is there any difference between these? or are there any good aftermarket ones? such as the below two links https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/8-GPS-Sat-N...

Re: rear offside ABS sensor
I'd be happy with either of those brands maybe worth the extra couple quid for the bosch one. Check the end of the sensor for damage from the magnetic ring before fitting a new one too, have seen a few swell up and rub the end of the sensor away will do .. any idea to the part number for the magnet...

Re: Am I gonna have problems
that is me, hello !
I had my DPF gutted, and it mapped out along with the EGR and a remap approx 10k miles ago.. no issues since (bar some driveshaft bolts shitting themselves, non related to this work) .. recently also had the EGR stuff physically removed with the darkside kit
