Dont be silly. It's all about supply and demand. I use more petrol than you do diesel so therefore diesel should be more expensive.

Re: W8 build thread - bad news

This is the very reason my drive now has a security light and a security camera. About a week after I got the S8 the tyres mysteriously started being flat in the morning and scratches started appearing on it. If they did that to mine even if the police wont do anything I'll have the images so can me...

Is ElsaWin written from a lefthand drive perspective?

I've got a problem with the S8's Acceleration Sensor (G200) and the instructions on ElsaWin say it's under the drivers seat. Under the drivers seat is the comfort module and the latteral airbag sensor but not the latteral G sensor or the yaw rate sensor which should also be there. Should I be lookin...

Re: Got bored of the A6

They're good cars, here's a pic of my old one with a quad exhaust: That looks the nuts, nice motor. Mine has had the silencer removed and only has the resonator in place and twin pipes as shown in the pics below. I may get the tips changed to quads as I'm not too keen on ovals that have a round out...

As has been said the W8 fills the engine bay and although compact it doesnt seem as though anything larger would fit.

Which one?

If it's the CK7W just search for bluetooth devices with the car on and use passcode 0000. I cant remember if you need to hold the button on the handsfree for a while or not.

It is a 2.4 V6 auto Sport. A real S6 would be nice but the finances wont stretch to to one of those.

Re: Forgive me for I have sinned.

The W8 is still for sale.

I've paid 4k for the 5 and I'll get at least that fo the W8.

As for the engine Paul. It's a 4.4 V8 8) I'll take a pic of the engine when I pick it up tommorow its huge!! If it was a VW W motor you could put a W16 in it's place.

Forgive me for I have sinned.

After a very enjoyable 15 months of W8 ownership I've decided to move on as I need a bigger car to haul the family around. I would have considered a W8 estate but fancied a change so here's my new motor. 8)

Re: w8 tuning options

The standard Satnav in the W8 is double din. There are chips out there it all depends on whether you think the outlay is worth 15 - 20bhp. If getting suspension make sure it's for the W8 as the W8 is like no other Passat. If you buy my car theres no need to worry about the double din as it allready ...

Had mine just over a year and I allready want to defect. the W8 is great but I want more power so an RS6 or M5 is likely to be replacing the satt when I can afford it.
