Re: Convince me to buy another passat
Read a bit more about the BMW and cant belive how poo they are! sub frame mounts tearing, turbos blowing (no pun intended) and inlet mainfold flaps breaking and going in the engine. Agree about new cars not being made like they use to but wont a bit more modern car. Seen a nice A4 today in very good...

Convince me to buy another passat

Re: celox +35bhp tuning module
Sounds like a resistor in a box. A decent tuning box new costs about the same if not more than a remap. Have a look on ebay for a secound hand psi power box. I got 1 for £60, very happy with it, been running it for a year with no problems. Dragon or van aken make good tuning boxes as well.

Re: quick answer needed...
ET 48 same sort of thing as the ET 56 would need spacers 6 to 10mm should do. They might just be ok. The ET 56 would need 15 to 20mm spacers to get a nice stance.

cost me £550 all in. Parts in Poland are way more expensive than the uk. Labour was about £60 and the rest was parts.

Re: ICE Build
When wiring any sound system i always try and keep power cables away from speaker cables/phono(RCA). Ran the power and remote down the middle of the car and the phono and speaker cables down either side. Tryed keeping speaker cables away from the fuse box as well. Probably a bit over the top but my ...

Sorry my quote was wrong the minimum compression for your engine is 7 bar. You can have up to 3 bar difference between cylinders according to the workshop manual. Long time since i had a petrol engine so a bit rusty.

Nice doing things on the inside as thats where u spend most of yr time. The clock mod just adds that bit of class to the inside of the B5. This boost gauge thing has been going on for too long, get it sorted lol
